Some years ago when I first set up for CAT I was playing with Winlog32. It had a great feature that I found most useful and that was it had a Beacon database whereby double clicking an entry changed frequency for you. I thought that would be a useful feature in Log4OM but likely to be on the desirable rather than the needed list. Anyway with the latest release came the opportunity to develop the memory frequencies feature and to add desirable frequencies in there which I have now completed for 6m and 2m Beacons using the excellent information on VKlogger.com. It would be equally easy to add 10m and others as well which I will do over time. If anyone is interested in using my file please message me and I can make it available. Even though it is personalised for Oceania and have added bearing information on 2m it would be easy to edit the XML file in Notepad to suit oneself.
One thing I cannot understand though is what dictates the mode or whether anything dictates mode as some frequencies are on CW and some come up as SSB when I double click an entry. I am using an IC-9100 on USB.
The other thing I found was the symbol next to where it says 'right click to edit' in the memory screen ...I presume it is a rubbish bin. Initially, I thought it related to the right click to edit command but soon found it has nothing to do with it

The other utility that has been added is a Tuner reminder. A great feature but mostly aimed at a PA....I am using it as a reminder for my Antenna Tuner for the G5RV which works well, but for me, it would be even better if the window was a) moveable and b) the labels could be edited such as Transmitter, Inductor (in Alpha) and Antenna to match the tuner. I love the way it changes with bands.
Overall, the more I use the program the more I love it. Please keep up the good work.
