Download from EQSL

Post by N6VH »

I am having the same problem a few others have had. Unfortunately, their solutions don't seem to apply to me. When I try to download from EQSL, I get this message:

11/16/2015 3:57:47 PM: Begin ADIF generation request...
11/16/2015 3:57:47 PM: Contacting EQSL website...
11/16/2015 3:57:47 PM: ADIF request accepted
11/16/2015 3:57:47 PM: NO QSO FOUND
More info: http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/DownloadInBo ... &Password= &QTHNickname=HOME&RcvdSince=201511010000

I deleted my password for obvious reasons.

My User Name, Password and Nickname are all correct. I have set the download date to a date I know that QSLs exist in the inbox. I am using Windows 8.1.

Please help.

Hi Jim, you can set an older date, 2-3 months ahead or more. Log4Om automatically discards QSO already updated.
This usually works. Don't rely too much on this parameter, i often find it's not working as expected (or as i have understood) on eqsl side

Daniele,

Thanks for the quick response. I set the date back to August 3, and got the same result.

Has to be something to do with User name, password or nickname being incorrect

Try using your call sign for the nickname instead of 'HOME'

Terry,

Thank you. The problem was the password. I was using the correct password, but "#" was one of the characters. The password worked when I was uploading, but the download routine apparently doesn't like that character. I changed the password with both EQSL and Log4OM, and everything is working fine now.

I'm getting the exact same thing as the OP. I tried the date change, my nickname is already my callsign and I don't have any odd characters in my password. Any thing else I could try? It uploads fine, I just can't download from eQSL.

Edit - Even though I get the above message, it pops up so fast that I don't think it's actually going to EQSL's website. The message is almost instant.

David,

The upload/download in Log4OM is working faultlessly, these problems are ALWAYS caused by one or a combination of the following

1. Incorrect user name or entry in the wrong case like g4pop instead of G4POP

2. Wrong password or password contains strange characters like *#%$£ or incorrect case as above

3. The nickname being incorrect, or the wrong case or a mixture of incorrect case

Go to the eQSL website and check out your user name and password used for login and also the 'Nickname' listed in your profile

I'm an idiot. I didn't even have a nickname on eQSL so of course changing around the nickname in Log4OM didn't help.

BTW we prefer users use their call sign for a user name so we can provide advice based on their location more easily
