new set up finding my way round I 0ahve omni rig talking to my IC 735 however
If click a spot mode changes on 735 not band ?
If I move dial on 735 the CAT/Log follows.
If change mode on 735 mode does not change
If I enter a qso it will not add it until I have manually enter the mode
something must be amiss in my cat set up tried also with WSJT and no go either

It may be that your radio does not support all commands due to its age
However make certain that you have the latest version of Omnirig installed, I think its V 1.6 and also the latest rig files

I do have the latest omnirig 1.16 and associated files and 1.16 does support the 735 and yes its as old as my licence ...... :
I will hunt around for more info I cannot be the only one using a IC 735 WSJT-X and JT-Alert which accounts for 95% of my work.

changing polling made no difference fro the moment using HRD radio control only and JT65 to Log4OM works fine
