FLDIGI integration

Post by VE4DXR »

I followed the instructions in the user manual and the Youtube video how to integrate fldigi. FLDIGI displays the frequency initially when the vfo is moved by hand. However, changing the frequency or bands on FLDIGI does not communicate with the TS-590. I tried it without the Etronic VSP splitter and still no response. Anyone have any suggestions what to do? 73, Lee VE4DXR

If you are referring to changing the band using the band list in Fldigi that is not a supported command in the FLdigi XML/RPC command structure

Frequency and band changes can only be done from Log4OM, e.g. changing frequency and band on the radio manually of double clicking a cluster spot in the Log4OM cluster or using the Log4OM favourites feature.

The XML/RPC structure of FLDigi is only one way traffic at this time, FLDigi does not support this feature in their XML/RPC protocol
