I have just started to look at WAS award. I bring up the "statistics and awards" display. Goto awards/was. Select was 10m award. When I move down to the bottom of the states list the last row of the status display underneath "WY" shows
" ***NOT FOUND*** W" If I click on the "W" it opens a "show qsl" window which has 134 entries in it. What's this all about. I am assuming there was something about these records that log4om does not like. Any ideas???

At moment i am not home, however please check those calls and perhaps you have a wrong value in WAS field, after correcting the value there all become correct.

Re: Worked All States...error message
Thanks Manuel and that did help. I started looking at the entries that showed up in this row marked as "NOT FOUND" and think its caused by US contacts that do not have a state populated. On 12M I had one entry without a state and as soon as I populated that entry with a state and refreshed that row that said "NOT FOUND" disappeared.
So now the next question is how do I construct a search for an empty state field in all US entries?
Thanks,
Harry

I just checked, and many of the listings under the Not Found category do have the state populated. Not a big problem for me, just wanted to let you know.

The state field may be populated but often if the state information has come from a previous logging software it may not be in the correct ADIF formatN6VH wrote:I just checked, and many of the listings under the Not Found category do have the state populated. A common example is if the incoming data has the state recorded as Pen instead of PA for Pennsylvania
The state data must exactly match the format used in the state column of the WAS award - see below

Re: Worked All States...error message
I found all my problems are caused by the state field being empty. I fixed the entries for 12M because I only had 12 total US contacts. I then created a 12M qso with "wis" for the state. When I looked at WAS 12M, state "wis" was sorted to the bottom of the display and when I clicked on "W" it displayed the 1 qso with the bogus state....that was ok, made some sort of sense. I then removed the state completely from that qso so state field was empty. Once again I looked at WAS 12M and this time there was a new row at the end with state name " ". When I clicked on the "W" ALL 12M qso's were displayed. All qso's showing up really clouds and confuses the issue. For example on 160M I have about 700 qso's. So in that case ALL 700 qso's were listed when I clicked the "W" sorted by what ever the layout was. So in that case it was not apparent at all as to what was going on. If only the qso's with empty states had been displayed I would have known immediately what had happened. So maybe something could be changed so that only the problem qso's showed up in the case of an empty state field.

Re: Worked All States...error message
I also have a large listing for each band WAS as "NOT FOUND" ( see earlier posting) . All the qso's were imported from win-test after competitions, but what is strange is that if I go to a particular state a qso will be listed although it still appears in "NOT FOUND" . I have checked the state entry for the qso's and they appear correct.

State must be in the correct WAS format.
a WAS file is present in your program configuration window.
This is the master "WAS" reference for WAS award

Yes, the states do appear to be in the correct format.G4POP wrote:The state field may be populated but often if the state information has come from a previous logging software it may not be in the correct ADIF formatN6VH wrote:I just checked, and many of the listings under the Not Found category do have the state populated.
