I believe that each time I open it I have to run Log4OM as an administrator so I can integrate it with external applications (WSJT-X for example). Whilst it is easy enough to do this, every time I do this the user account control (UAC) pops up and asks if it is OK to run the program. I know I can disable this globally, but I'd feel safer only allowing this when running Log4OM. Is there a way around this so I don't have to go thru this extra step?

Re: Opening Log4OM as administrator
Firstly you can set Log4OM to always run as an administrator so that you just click the shortcut to run it - See the user guide for how to.
Unless you reduce the UAC control the warning will always appear - I have had my UAC control turned off for several years!

Re: Opening Log4OM as administrator
That's how I currently have it set up, with a shortcut as per the user guide. I suspect I'll do as you did and disable the UAC warning. I just wondered if there was a way to leave the UAC on for all other apps, making an exception of Log4OM but if it isn't possible I think I'll just take a very slight chance and ditch the UAC control.
Thanks!
