Save CAT Comm Port?

Under CAT Management, how do I save my COM port selection?

Near the bottom is the connect string. There is a Save and a Load button. I've set the string and pressed the Save. I can connect to my Rig and all works well. I need to use Com5.

I close Log4OM and re-open it and it always reverts to COM1. So I have to go and click the Load button again, or select Com5 again and then open the port again. How do I automatically get it to use Com5?

Are you sure that you saved the parameter and also used the close button to close the window - Not the red cross at the top left corner because it works fine for me.

That said I much prefer Omnirig, why don't you download it and give it a try, it enables other Omnirig software to synchronise like Bandmaster which Hamlib does not

Hi hi. Sufficiently chastised .
Took a while to return to my Dad's QTH and give ominrig a whirl. I'm a user too now that I've upgrade to a rig with CAT control.
