Problem with Win10 upgrade

Post by w5uy »

Hi All:
:o Don't know what changed, but after the upgrade to the Win10, I cannot run Log40m. It has been running without a hitch for many months, but now when I try and run the program, I get an interrupt screen indicating that Log40m has stopped running. Anyone else having a similar problem?
Any solutions would be appreciated.

Thanks for any help.

Try installing the latest version of Lop4OM (Version 1.25) as an administrator

Did you uninstall the old version before installing the new one

Have you set the Windows 'User Account control' to minimum, if not please do so and also suspend any firewalls and antivrus software during the install

Well, I still haven't got it working yet---I have turned off the firewall, put the UAC on minimum, turned of BD Ant-iRansomware
I don't think I have any other things running. Now, I have not deleted the original Log40m file because I was unsure how to do it without deleting the program configuration files, etc. Also, I have heard much about the problems with Java, so I am going to delete it. So, I am off the air until I can get Log40m running. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bill,

I will contact you directly and see if I can help resolve your issue. Do you have TeamViewer installed on your computer (which Log4OM is on)? If not, could you install it - free version.

Thanks,
