SOTA cluster problem

Post by W6JMP »

Cluster from connection (f3) screen for SOTA elgur.dtdns.net:7300 not being loaded to cluster (f9) screen.
This process has been working perfectly since I first loaded Log4OM. Stopped working suddenly yesterday.
Any Ideas or suggestions?

Are you sure it wasn't a temporary failure of the cluster? because it all seems to be working fine for me this evening

Thanks for your response Terry,

The screen you're showing (f3) is loading just fine. This data is not being transferred to the (f9) screen. That's the
screen I work from where you can click to the spotted frequency and the ref info is loaded onto the log automatically.

If you try another cluster do the spots show in the F9 display?

I'll check as soon as i can.
I'm actually in italy central area with civil defense following regional telecommunication alternative systems (TETRA, Satellite and classic VHF comms).

Can anybody check if that cluster works with other softwares? it seems a proprietary sw...

Danielle,

The cluster is loading correctly into SotaWatch2 and N1MM.
BTW I just noticed that the MM0FMF cluster is showing a revision
dated Nov. 27th 2016. That is about the time it stopped loading
onto f9.
