Might be operator issues but cant figure them out.
#1) QRZ is not updating even though I have my correct API and current subscription for log data. How do I troubleshoot this? Is this automatic or is there somewhere i need to force the sync? LOTW is working when I use it.
#2) I am running a Flex 6400. Log4OM follows the radio frequency but the Flex does not follow Log4OM. I can TX from Log4OM and when clicking spots the Flex will change modes between CW and digital but will not change frequency. I am using the OmniRig option.

Two issues
Re: Two issues
For some reason the rig control resolved itself after restarting the program.
So only issue that remains is QRZ not updating.

Re: Two issues
Providing you checked the Automatic upload on new QSO box in the Options/External Logs window then each time you add a QSL to the logbook it should auto upload that QSO to QRZrrmccabe wrote: 01 Nov 2017, 12:28 #1) QRZ is not updating even though I have my correct API and current subscription for log data. Set the debug mode in the Help menu to trace - Try adding another QSO and then check the Help/Show log report it should shown what is happening on upload right at the bottom of the report
Its always something simple like a typo in the API etc

Re: Two issues
Terry, I worked a couple stations this morning and they sycned with QRZ. But there is still about 4 from yesterday sitting there that did not update.
I assume that Log4OM cant read from the remote databases like QRZ?

Re: Two issues
I Just noticed I had a couple contacts overlapping by about 2 minutes in time. Will that halt the sync with QRZ?
I changed the time and they synced. I never did get an error message or warning that they could not be synced.

As far as I am aware QRZ have not yet provided a download API or even a similar facility to eQSL/LOTW for download by external software? If you know otherwise please let us know!I assume that Log4OM cant read from the remote databases like QRZ?
If you can generate/export an ADIF file from the online QRZ logbook you can then of course import it into Log4OM. Duplicates will not be imported providing the Call sign, Band, Mode, Date and start time EXACTLY MATCH a QSO that already exists in Log4OM.

Re: Two issues
Thanks Terry
Regarding "Just right click on those QSO's from yesterday in the Recent QSO window and select 'Upload to QRZ.com'"
I had tried that without success. But changing the times did the trick. I don't know if it had to do with the time or just the fact I edited the record. Current now.
Now if I could get my Flex to follow FLDIGI instead of just FLDIGI following the Flex I will be happy.
Thanks for your help sir. Sending a couple beers your way!

Re: Two issues
If your using Fldigi with Log4om the dissable all cat control in Fldigi and set xml/rpc to be active - follow the video and lo4om user guide

Re: Two issues
Yea I am doing exactly that per your video.
FLDIGI follows the radio just fine. However if I try to control the frequency from FLDIGI nothing happens.
Possibly I dont know what I am doing in FLDIGI.

It does not work like that!rrmccabe wrote: 01 Nov 2017, 18:46FLDIGI follows the radio just fine. However if I try to control the frequency from FLDIGI nothing happens.
FLdigi is a follower not a leader so you click a spot in Log4OM or change band, mode or frequency on the radio FLDigi should change accordingly
Alter any other software that is connected to Omnirig like SRD-Radio consul and FLDigi will follow
Trying to change band etc in FLDigi will not change the radio or other programs
This is how the XML/RPC FLDigi protocol is designed, its nothing to do with Log4OM
