Transceiver Control Interface

I have not installed the new Log4OM.
I am currently using LogHX which currently works well with my Expert MB1 SDR.
Does Log4OM have the capability for TCI?
That would be really nice and would eliminate the need for Omnirig.
Plus, does Log4OM have band maps for the band that you operating.
I guess I have become too used to the band map that N1MM that I sort of expect other loggers to also have it.

My guess is he meant TCP/IP
I also miss this option on Log4om 2
I use a Flex 6700 and would love to get CAT info from TCP/IP CAT stream.

I don't see us implementing this just yet there are too many more important additions required by the majority of users.
TCP/IP will be added but not this specialist requirement for one particular product

Can you explain ? What CAT Info is currently missing with the Omni-Rig implementaion of Flex SmartSDR ?

Gentlemen, Here is something about TCI via the Expert MB1 Manual.
TCI - Transceiver Control Interface was developed by Expert Electronics company, for simple and still advanced connection between the ExpertSDR2 and third-party software. TCI has all required control commands similar to CAT system, but even more, it can transfer IQ-streams from the ExpertSDR2 to clients (third-party software such as signal Skimmers, etc) via local network and the Internet, CW macroses and Audio In/Out streams for digital modes (will be added soon). TCI is the universal multi-client interface (you can connect it to Loggers, Skimmers, PAs, Antenna switches etc. at the same time).
I hope this gives some answers to the questions you had.

I would think that would work as long as you have a serial port setup in Smart SDR for port 16.
I am running the same setup except with a baud rate of 19200.

Rich, absolutely, that's the nice thing about SmartSDR, just configure a new CAT Port in SmartSDR CAT or re-use an existing one which is not already in use by another application. Done.
