The external service HRDLOG.net is not working properly.

Post by iz0eus »

I am using Log4OM version 2.2.0.0
In Configuration \ External Services \ HRDLOG.net I have correctly entered the User and Upload code (as well as in Log4OM ver.1). Then I checked on "Automatic upload on new qso" and finally "Save and exit". But every time I save a name, after a few minutes I go to check on my HRDLOG logbook without finding the call entered. Trying several times to close the software, to save the External Service parameters again and then reopen, from that moment on the qso made later appear on the HRDLOG log but without the QSL data. Furthermore, I realized that on the HRDLOG site I was "ON AIR" without having checked "Automatic HRDLOG on air" on Log4OM.

They are having some issues with this function and it is supposed to be fixed in future release. Mine is showing me online as well even though I do not have that turned on.

I think some users have the opposite issue, but its a known problem.

You need to check the three boxes underneath the path to your ADIF log file and save it. When you do this, you can then trash the old path to your ADIF file. Software Integration >ADIF Functions > ADIF File path.

N3XL,
I have check the three the boxes you wrote, but nothing has changed. However when I use Log4om on the HRDLOG site I am "ON AIR" without having checked "Automatic HRDLOG on air" on Log4OM. I tried to upload from QSL Manager but the one in the photo is the result:

Sounds like there are two separate issues. I was unable to upload from my ADIF log file using FLDIGI, until I checked those boxes. I don't know if it was one, two or all three of the boxes that solved the issue, but since I initially did all three when I started troubleshooting, I just left it that way. What application are you logging from?

I have perhaps found an important element to solve the problem.
I noticed that the QSOs are uploads to HRDLOG.net only if in Program Configuration-> Confirmation-> Type: HRDLOG-> Sent = NO.
If Sent = YES the qso are NOT uploads to HRDLOG.net. It seems strange but it is so.

Hello Mauro,

it works fine here with upload. All of my contacts are stored at HRDlog.net but some
showing Yes after upload and some are showing no. But all are there. So think, as stated
before, that there´s a problem at HRDlog with the communication. Only my 2 cts.

you try to configure as follows:
Program Configuration-> Confirmation-> Type: HRDLOG-> Sent = NO.
Then save a qso in LOG4OM and then check if it has been uploaded on HRDLOG.net please :|

As i said, i have checked all send status to "NO" except paper "QSL". Sometimes there´s a problem
that HRDlog.net send status showing "No" but at my end all contacts are stored at the HRDlog site ....
