Cluster Spots Not Working

Ok. On V2, I can send Cluster Spots using the Cluster Menu Box. But the Button on the right hand side of the screen won’t send Spot. Help appreciated

I have not been using that but its not working for me either.

I enter a Callsign in the QSO input screen and hit the icon on the right and it shows both my grid and his and send it and it does not send to cluster.

How are you sending the spot, by pressing enter or clicking the green check mark, because it works fie to me

I have tried both now but was clicking the checkmark to start. Neither work for me.

I should note I am connected to VE7CC.net using port 7373 because 23 will not work with my current network connection. I am swapping cable modems tomorrow hoping to resolve that. Doubt that has anything to do with it but I thought I would mention it. I can send a spot from the telnet cluster window.

Are you sure that you are registered with the ve7cc cluster server, if your not you can't send spots to it

Same applies to all clusters

Yes. I am registered.

I have it working now but do not know why. I tried it from Telnet window again and it did not work. Disconnected and reconnected and still did not work.

Removed localhost which I am using for CW skimmer (not primary) and just connected to VE7CC. Then it worked. Added the localhost back and it still works.

I can guess what your issue was

Spots are only sent to the cluster marked as 'Primary' in the active cluster list, its not neccesarry to send to every cluster and duplicate the action

The first cluster you select is marked as 'Primary' unless you change it

I suspect that your localhost connection was set to Primary instead of VE7CC

When you deleted localhost VE7CC became the primary so it started working

Yes, I did change it. Hit the crown Icon and made primary.

Even double checked that
