WAC

Post by KD0ZV »

I either do not understand how this works or it has some issues.

Under WAC I am seeing mostly "W".

I should have a ton of verified and if I click any of them you can see I have LOTW confirmation. Am I doing something wrong?

Rich,

Thanks for reporting. I see the same issue and reported this to Daniele.

Actual configuration for WAC doesn't take into account LOTW for confirmation and validation
I wish to remember that CONFIRMATION and VALIDATION have 2 different meanings, and they're reported in the user manual.

After reading the relative section (Awards - For Advanced users page 95 in the current manual version) you should read CONFIRMATION chapter and update your award accordingly (page 106 of the user manual)
I'll check the same and, eventually, i will update award centrally for all users if WAC is confirmed accepting LOTW as confirmation

I don't provide direct info and solutions, i'm trying to give you some hints to understand how awards work and how to fix by yourself :) the current behavior is due to the actual WAC AWARD configuration and you can change it and perform an award rescan to fix.

Thank you. That worked.

It was confusing because the other awards DXCC and WAS worked as I would have expected. Did not realize I would have to go into WAC and configure it.

Grazie !

Also Daniele when you get bored can you default the first column to slightly wider? This is not a big deal but have to manually adjust it when I open to see full text.

Daniele,

These settings I made changes got wiped with the new upgrade today. So all the changes I had made are gone.
