Log4OM 2 and WSJT-x

Just getting going with Log4OM2, and ran into an issue with WSJT-X. I followed the instructions to link the two programs, and things seem to be going OK. Clicked on a station to give them a call and the rig (IC-7610) went into transmit, WSJT-X started to encode, and information went into the appropriate fields in Log4OM. After a few seconds the encode shut off and the rig stayed in transmit until the end of the 15 second FT8 cycle. Has anyone ran into this issue? It didn't happen with version 1.

Sounds like you have RF in the shack

It was working fine with version 1, and no other symptoms of RF in the shack.

Still cannot get Log4OM 2 and WSJT-X to work together. Now WSJT-X showing this error after working fine for a few seconds:
"Hamlib error: Command rejected by the rig while getting PTT state"
It is not an RF in shack problem as previously suggested. My impression so far of V.2 is it is not an improvement on V.1.

Hamlib has been problematic for many users for many years.

We strongly suggest that you use OmniRig. It is far more stable and friendly.

The most current version is V 1.19 ... download at link below and be sure to also download the latest rig "ini" file as well.

Do NOT download and use the OmniRig from the Swiss OM. It has many problems and we don't recommend using that APP for CAT connections in Log4OM V2.

Thats the issue - Hamlib will not multi thread as Omnirig does, change to Omnirig and run everything as an administrator and set up as detailed in our user guide and it WILL work

Switched over to Omnirig and that did the trick. Thank you!
