As a dxcc holder for a long time , I was looking for a qso state let say "no more eligible for award"
It occurs when you did a qso long time ago and you do not have any more chance to get qsl confirmed
in the dxcc award I'd like not to see any more as worked; the status worked help me from time to time to get qsl sending status and do a possible resend
any suggestion on how to handle in log4om ?
tnx

Re: QSO no more eligible for Award
Hi Don,
Surely unless you have every DXCC award like all modes, bands, challenge, VUCC etc your QSO is still valid for use in claiming those award types?
There is not a status for this in the ADIF specification so any tag of this description would need to be program related and therefore might be problematical with regard to ADIF export/import and Backup/restore

Re: QSO no more eligible for Award
HI Terry
In the past I used this option; the qso was logged but it did not count any more for any awards) and it helped me to keep award up to date.
in the ADIF and in the application I see that the QSL (QSL, EQSL, LOTW) state could assume value Invalid or Ignore.
I chooose a QSO and I updated the 3 QSL statuses (QSL, EQSL, LOTW) to INVALID: the AWARD (DXCC) does not count it anymore
so to make QSO no more eligible for Award set the QSL statuses to INVALID/IGNORE !

Re: QSO no more eligible for Award
Hi Don,
Yes Ignore/invalid applies to QSL, eQSL and LOTW QSL status.
There is not an Ignore/invalid status for Award Credit in ADIF
This is the ADIF format for Award submitted/granted as shown in the screenshot below
As I said before we would need a program related field for this and that might be problematical with regard to ADIF export/import and Backup/restore!
So at this time unfortunately there is no method to do what you require other than deleting the QSO's that you don't want to show in the awards matrix as worked.
You could of course export an ADIF of your logbook having filtered out these unwanted QSO's and then start a new empty logbook to import this filtered ADIF file into?
