I'm thinking of having the user guide printed and bound, when things settle with V2, say in the New Year. When the Front Page is re-issued
date and time of update, could the page numbers that have been changed be added.

Re: USER GUIDE - UPDATES
The guide is and will be constantly updated as was the version 1 guide and sometime two or three times a day so its virtually impossible to provide a list of updated pages.
The best way is to read it on a tablet and regularly download the latest version, no printing, easily updated and searchable! - Happy days!

Barrie,
To add to Terry's suggestions regarding the U.G., below is a link to an FAQ I posted earlier this year about each of us making it a good habit to routinely check for User Guide updates.
Like you I've also liked "hard copy" User Guides, but over the years have found that changes to such items ends up being quite expensive and a lot of effort to keep up with. I've learned that having access to a PDF viewer for the User Guide and using the search function has worked wonders for me.

Re: USER GUIDE - UPDATES
I beg to disagree, certainly one cannot read the entire document to see what has changed. At age 87 and with my
memory that would be impossible. Of course I am speaking from the point of view that I need to know what is
changing.
If one views it from needing to look up a specific subject/problem, then the forced update Index from the Log4 program
is more than adequate.
I currently have a print out of the Index and selected pages and add to these as my knowledge of the program expands, thus
I always have the latest version on a needing to know basis.
If one gives date and time, surely one could add the page numbers modified, it cannot be that many each time.
this would enable me to keep my home printed version up to date. Or indeed to slip in updates to a proper Bound version.
Thanks for bearing with me.
I apologise for criticising what is an excellent free Logging Program, for which I heartily thank the entire Team.

Re: USER GUIDE - UPDATES
Well Barrie,
If you can find a way that I can automatically list page changes in Microosoft Word for users other than manually recording them I will be pleased to do so. If you find a way please ensure it's easy to understand because I am over 80 also!
When I add information to a page or a new section all following text is moved down and all following pages therefore are changed. So every time I edit I have to update the table of contents which thankfully is an automatic function.
May I suggest that you read the release notes (help/about) and then refer to the latest user guide for information about the points your interested in.
Alternatively print the new table of contents pages and compare them to the last TOC you printed, differences will be easy to see.

Re: USER GUIDE - UPDATES
All points taken Terry, good suggestion that when I am aware of an update I will compare the idexes or should that be indices. Now I understand what is auto and what is not.
Take care. 73 Barrie
