I did not understand how the CAT works when we select "Switch to DIGITAL mode when required"
I validated this option by selecting the FT8 mode by default
but in the input interface the mode always remains in USB (I am in USB to do FT8 with my TX (FTdx5000) )
I can change bands and position myself each time on the FT8 frequency in each band, the mode always remains USB
So when does the mode switch to "DIGITAL" ?

Check your wsjt settings and your Omnirig rig ini file, you either have the wrong setting in wsjt CAT tab for mode or your not using the correct Omnirig ini file

Perhaps but where exactly ?
I use JTDX and Omnirig
On Omnirig I don't see anything abnormal : and on JTDX Settings I don't know where and what to look for

No not there

1. JTDX settings/radio check what is set in the mode section of that window

2. In the Omnirig normal window where you select the rig and com port, check to see if there is an ft5000 ini file with 'data' in the name

1) ==> The mode is USB
2) ==> I selected with the name :"Ftdx5000MP" But there is also "FTdx-5000MP-D"
I have to select this last one ?

The other mode are : "None" "USB" "Data/PKT"
but I have to use USB with my personnal interface

Select data/pkt in JTDX

Select the data ini in Omnirig
