Hi all
Is there a way for Log4OM to automatically fill in the QSL manager field when a QSL manager is known (several QSL manager databases available).
Is there a way to import, update such a database into Log4OM ?
For example, I have just worked J73CC, but his manager EA5GL is not input into his details.

Re: QSL MANAGER
Guess your not a paid subscriber to QRZ and are therefore not receiving the data, it works fine for me, see below

Hi Terry
No, I am not a paid subscriber, this is why I asked if there are other options to fill in that little box, so convenient for QSLing to the proper direction (meaning the proper manager if and when there is one).

Re: QSL MANAGER
No other options. If the Station owner not stored this info´s to the different externals services
there is no way to update this field.
By the way, the Manager databases i´ve seen in the web are all only search engines and has no
download of xml files that could be implemented in Log4OM. I think it´s impossible at the moment.

73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.
Re: QSL MANAGER
Thanks Juergen.
So next question is :
Let's say I work 7Q7RU a first time, and manually add his QSL manager.
Is there a way that when I next make a QSO with him again, the QSL info is automatically input ? In other words, can a xcallsign have the memory of its QSL manager (or QSL info) and writes it automatically ?
If the answer is no, then it could (should) be on the next update... maybe ?!!

Re: QSL MANAGER
QSL managers often change so its unlikely that we will add this to ensure that the most recent information is available, same applies to grid squares and QTH which also change from time to time

Re: QSL MANAGER
Hi Terry
It is true that managers sometimes change, thoughh it is not so common, but let's take the example of the recent 9J2LA.
Many people have worked them 10, 15, 20 times.
If including the manager in the QSO info was automatic, you would need to input it only once.
And let's imagine the callsign is reissued in 2 yerars, making it changeable would solve the problem.
So I would call it "automatic, unless changed"
Just a thought.

Re: QSL MANAGER
If not, then is it possible (in next versions) to have the QSL manager box on the main QSO logging screenlike instead of note, or somewhere there ?
