Db error

Hi all. New user of log4om.

Everything is fine until I shut down the program. When I launch it the db is corrupt and I have to create new db and import back up. The log references db being read only. I have run the program as administrator but not change. Eberything is fine until I close and re open. While open all functions work.

Where have you stored the sqlite database, what foldér?

In my documents folder. And this is windows 10

Have you checked that the folder of the file are not write protected like read only?

Clearly this is an authority issue so try running Log4OM as an administrator

Hi there. I seem to have found the solution. Run as admin wasnt needed but rather AVG antivirus needed to have the program added as an exception in order to allot it to write a db file to my documents. I have added exception and it seems to work at this time. Thanks for the assistance.

By the way, if you use Log4OM togehter with Omnirig and different Softwares like WSJT-X/JTDX
it´s absloutely needed to run all of this softwares with administrator rights. Only this makes it
possible that the multithreading in Omnirig can work.

Only as a remeinder ...

A comment if you have de database error = Stop your antivirus

A friend of mine had the following error
[EXCEPTION] attempt to write a readonly database
attempt to write a readonly database

After investigation
It was AVAST antivirus that was creating the trouble
