Me and other friends has observed that after downloaded confirmations by LoTW, this changes the data written on the County.

But it has not changed the county it is only the format/syntax that altered, this is just due to the way it is stored and resolved for ADIF dont worry about it

Time to worry is when a county gets changed from Maddison to Orange or similar

So there is not a problem, only a text change without no more importance, just a minor text change ...

Even if only for the aesthetic aspect of said column, could something be done to avoid these changes and not have to correct one by one?

It is something that other users ask me ...

Yes you could request that LOTW stick to the ADIF format

Ohh, I was unaware that LoTW was not using to the ADIF standard ...

They use the parts they want to and then also use some syntax of their own which is not ADIF
