Hello
I participated in the RDA contest to try to contact some RDAs,
but then how do we update the RDA table?
Log4OM does this on its own or do you have to hand over all the RDAs contacted?
Thank you for your help

Providing you have recorded the RDA ref when saving or editing the QSO as below then the Award status will be automatically reflected in the grid view

- Capture.JPG (70.24 KiB) Viewed 2431 times
If the award ref was in the cluster notes and you selected the station from the cluster then Log4OM will auto fill the award refs

Hi Terry thanks but
I did not choose, I directly import the Log generated by Wintest (I made about 120 QSOs)

Hi Terrey tahnks but
I did not choose, I directly import the Log generated by Wintest (I made about 120 QSOs)
When a log is imported from another program Log4OM can only complete the basic award information like DXCC etc which is derived from the call sign prefix information (e.g., A call with a K prefix like K7PT can be assumed to be from the USA DXCC 291 and so be allocated to the various DXCC award sections by band and mode)
Log4OM cannot GUESS what district or prefecture a station may or may not be operating from
If however the incoming QSO has an award reference recorded in the comments field like 'DA-52' it can intelligently guess that this is an RDA reference and update the award reference during import. (Unless you disabled award checking on import then nothing will happen)
All of this is explained in the extensive awards section of our user guide, pages 118 to 165

No because that is not a complete reference, we look for recognisable formats like IOTA probably two letters then space or hyphen followed by up to 4 numerals (plus some other checks), then if that syntax is recognised we check it against the appropriate award reference lists for a match.
No other software gets even close to us for this but we are not clairvoyant or miracle workers And some intervention by the user is required.

Think about it! If your operating DL/F6FLU/P in the RDA contest how on earth can we guess which RDA reference you were in?
Same goes for normal calls, how do we guess the reference when the station does not even publish his home RDA on QRZ.com
