Have looked the manual over and If its there I guess I missed it. Think I may have messedup and loaded a flash drive 2 times of my ADIF
older lof files from ACLog I was using along with HYD ,DM280 log..
Now I have many dups showing up in my log, same call, same date same freq..
Is there a way to scan and deletet the dups from my Log40M prpgram
Thanks Dow --- W4DOW

Re: How to scan and delete dups in my Log
Export the log as an ADIF
Create a new database (Logbook) with a different name like W4DOW New
Import the ADIF into the new logbook
Because Log4om won't import duplicates you should end up without dupes
(All of the errors in the import window will be the dupes being ignored)
However I am puzzled how you managed to get the dupes into Log4om in the first place?

Re: How to scan and delete dups in my Log
I use(d) VQLog for a long time and if I do a contest I use N1MM.
After the contest I can export to adif and import them into VQLog
When I export VQLog to adif and import it into a clean Log4OM all QSO's are imported.
But when I try to import the adif from N1MM into Log4OM I get dupes.
So there must be something in those files that forces the program to make a new record instead of editing or ignoring it.

Re: How to scan and delete dups in my Log
No all are the same, same call, Date, time freq but on (MODE) Some say SSB and its dupe says PH
Others Same all other info and in the Mode area one will be PSK31 and its dupe is Digi??
Strange
I was logging at one time with ACLOG and HRD/780 and again FLdigi same log, same calls same info and all saved to flashdrives the later I copy to LOG40m only differents it the Mode and it recopyed the same over to new Adif ..
Guess I go theru and pick them out Manual and delete.

Thats the problem when software does not conform to the standard format, these QSO's are not being recognised as duplicates because of the invalid modes.
Let me have a copy of your sqlite logbook and I will fix it for you - By email please and zip it if its a large file
