Log4OM

When using Omnirig with parameters set to the FT900 manual Log4om defaults to 8o meters defaults to 3700.00 the radio shows the correct Freq (all bands). If I use Hamlib the program defaults to the correct freq but the radio will not change freq. again Hamlib set to the correct FT900 manual specs. Specs are Comport correct of course Baud rate 4800 Data Bits 8 Parity none Stop bits 2 RTS high DTR high Poll int 500 Timeout Ms 4000 for Omnirig.
Hamlib Serial Connected radio Baud 4800 Stop bits 2 RTS and DTR checked no PTT Poling 50ms

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the correct response from radio to Log4OM or vice versa on the FT900? BTY the radio is selected in both management programs.

5. Yes if fact I loaded Amateur Contact Log and tested worked as it should have

Alex has released version 1.20 of Omnirig and a new set of rig descriptor files I suggest that you install them and try again.

Do not download the Omnirig version from the Swiss site it will not work, only use the DXAtlas original site.

Have you tried a different ini file like ft857?

Went through almost all Yaesu radios with no luck. I thought the 450D would would since all parameters except baud rate would work but would not.

Try a factory reset of your radio

Not sure that would work since CAT works fine with other programs.

Up to you but I have had this before where a radio works with some software but not others because the radios CAT chip had got confused.
