Program Config Window Chopped Off

For some unknown reason my Program Config Menu Window has been chopped off horizontally. Cannot scroll sideways. Cannot use it. Cursor will not grab the edge to enlarge. Maybe a Windows Update problem??? All other windows seem to work fine. Program is working fine. Running WIn11 and v2.20.0.0. I have rebooted and reinstalled Log4OMv2 with no luck. Must have screwed up something, and need help getting my Program Config Window restored to full size to make it usable again. Any ideas much appreciated. 73, Herb WB8ASI

Have you set windows magnifier to on or different to the default 100%?

Thanks Terry, Windows Magnifier is OFF. All views are normal except the Program Config Window.

I tried going back to v2.19.0.0 in hopes it would somehow unlock my frozen window even tho it has been working fine in v2.10.0.0 until recently. Same problem, so am back on current version. I've looked for help reading about Win11 window sizing. So far I cannot find a solution, and need to make some config changes. Clicking on the menu items does nothing. Cannot maneuver to upper right hand corner to maximize. Get no menu popup when right clicking or Alt + spacebar. Only way to proceed is to close the window via the taskbar.

You will find a number of layout files in your roaming/log4om folder, one should be for that window

Close log4om and delete the layout file then restart log4om which should create a new file

I didn't see any layout file that looked like "config". I deleted "layout_datagrid_cluster_Home.json", "layout datagrid_cluster_Main.json" and "layout_datagrid_Home.json". The Program Config WIndow is still locked and chopped. The layout files did not recreate themselves, but I saved them and put them back. Can you please tell me exactly the name of the layout file I should delete. Thanks, Herb.

Please try a clean install and see if that works.

Alternatively download the portable version and run it from a memory stick as a test.

If all is OK with either of the above then you have one or more corrupted files, possibly caused by sector errors or similar

Terry, I have progress. I tried redownloading 2.20.0.0 as usual, and had same problem. II then totally Uninstalled the program and reinstalled, but also still had the same problem. Then I downloaded the Portable version onto a thumb drive. Clicked the LONG.exe file, and extracted files. Then opened the program and now have a proper full screen for Program Config. It is fresh waiting for all my config. Now what??? Do I move some Portable Files to my Main Program files??? How do I get the good layout in the Portable version moved into the problem layout in the Main version where all my config resides??? Your help is much appreciated. Herb WB8ASI

While waiting for further guidance, thought I would try deleting all the layout files in the Main version and replacing them with the known good copies in the Portable version. No luck. Still getting that chopped down frozen Program Config window on the Main version.

On you installed version

Rename the folder C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2

to C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2OLD

Reinstall Log4OM and run it - Just enter the minimum information like call country and locator - Close Log4OM

Copy the config.json file from your C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2OLD\user folder

To the newly created C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user folder and let it overwrite the file

Restart Log4OM
