Log getting too large

My current database, about 125,000 contacts, seems to be large enough to cause performance problems.

Is there a method to do a date-delineated ADIF export, from some historic date (say 2 years ago) to the present?

I would then use that as the seed of a new data base going forward until it got too large again, archiving the current large data base for historic purposes.
