Printing labels 90 degrees wrong...

Post by DL4DBM »

Hello everyone,
I've got a problem printing labels. :?
After I've confirmed and checked the contacts for which I'd like to print labels, I select the label and click on PDF. Here I can see that everything's okay. BUT as soon as I print the labels, they are printed only half-sized although all printersettings seem to be okay.

Even at "label definition" when I print a test-pdf of Avery 8160 (I haven't changed this definition at all...it comes with LOG4OM) these labels are half-sized... What am I doing wrong? :(
THANKS in advance!

The most common mistake is to have set the printer properties to 'Fit to page' which results in some strange results.

Also check your page orientation you must have it set to portrait

Also many of us had aggravation when using Adobe software as the default program for PDF files, so we changed to using 'Foxit Reader which works very well.

I just printed a page of 8160 labels and they printed fine so I think the issue is something local to you rather than a Log4OM issue - What version of Log4OM are youn using?

Hi Terry,
thanks for replying.
I'm using Log4OM2 Version 2.21.1.0 and Windows 10. I've already tried the FoxIt-Software instead of Adobe but the results are the same... I've also changed the font-size but that didn't work, same results.
I've checked the printer-settings and they are exactly the same as in your Youtube-tutorial.

Hi everybody,
I've solved my problem about printing labels. Everytime I wanted to print labels with the correct settings concerning my printer, the labels were printed in A5-format instead of A4-format.
Checking internet I ran into this problem also. You have to de-install the printer und drivers and install those again. People say it has to do with a windows-update (?)
But, things are running again! Thanks everybody!
