Today I entered a contact in my log after I had changed bands (ddduuuuhhhhh me dumb!) The contact was made on 24 MHz and entered after going to 18 MHz. Anyway, in an attempt to rectify my stupidity I double clicked the entry on the Recent QSO window and in the Band box I changed to 12m then in Freq box, put in 24 and in the bluish box alongside that, put in 917.... save and exit and the frequency for my contact now shows 24.917 instead of the usual 24.917.000
I can live with the shorter frequency display in my log and afrer several go's at trying to get those extra zeros in, gave up. I thought nothing more about it until I did my manual upload to LOTW... LOTW told me that the frequency 0.24917 was invalid for the 12 M band... MY screen says 24.917 so, somehow LOTW is seeing that as 0.24917
Is this a glitch in the software (and my post should be in the Error Reports area) or did I perform the frequency edit incorrectly ??? and, how do I get those extra zeros in to the log ??

Re: Editing a QSO frequency
John,
No this is not a glitch in the software you unfortunately entered the frequency incorrectly.
The "Blue box" is for entering Hz and is marked such just above the box.
The white field to the left is where you enter the Mhz/KHZ in your case you should have typed in 24917 without any decimal point.
Had you wanted to record 24.917.500 you would enter 24917 into the Mhz/Khz white field and then 500 into the blue highlighted field
See my screen shots below

Re: Editing a QSO frequency
thanks Terry... now here is a weird thing. I cannot or, should I say 'could not' type 24917 in to that box, that is why I was putting the 917 in the blue box. What 'was' happening is, I would type 24 and then the box would accept no more characters. Anyway, after closing the program, rebooting the puta and trying again, it now works as per your info/screen shot. I tell you, bloody computers are so frustrating.
Thanks again for your time.
John
