Lost Recent Q's (F7)

Post by W3LI »

This is the 3rd time this has happened. When I went from v2.25 from 2.24 all of the logged calls in f7 gone.
QSO count went to zero.
The second time I lost 46 Q's and now the 3rd time I lost 6 Q's.
This part of the program worked so well, I never thought that this would happen????
I am sure that I have done something to cause this as I am not a GURU.
I do have team viewer available. Been using Log4OM since 2014.
Guess that I will use the good old ARRL paper log for now.

Have you got backups?

Did you try file/open database and try to open the original sqlite database

Good afternoon Terry, Tnx for the fast reply.
Yes, I have paper backup. I print every 25 Q's or 30 days. Don't trust computers as you can see.
Went to File/open database and was able to open the original SQLite data base.
Got this, c:\users\Anderson\documents\log4OM Ver2. sq lite.
Clicked on open and the entire log prior to this incident was there.
Now what ?????

Providing the log is complete you are back to normal

By backup I meant a log4om backup not a paper log! Please ensue backups are set up in the program configuration, see our user guide

Andy,

Make sure you download the most current User Guide. It is dated: 02/12/2022 5:41 PM

Backups are discussed in many locations in the User Guide. Check out Page 193 for one location and an image of the basic setup in Settings / Configuration / Backup panel.

Good afternoon Nolan,
Thank you for the information on page 193 of the manual. I have been there already. Did not tell me much or explain what I was to do.
