Retrieve CREDITED QSL's

Post by w9mdb »

Does the "Retrieve CREDITED QSL's" do anything for LOTW?

I thought it might download the DXCC ADIF file and try to match the QSLs there (that do not have time) to the log.
Or is there some other to get the credit granted from card submission back into the log so they show as GRA.

This could also be done with the ADIF import by opening up the time window but do it with a + sign to indicate within +secs from the QSO time which is always 12:00AM for the "not found" QSOs since they have no time field.

What we're trying to figure out now is the user I'm working with recently submitted some cards -- and checked the Retrieve CREDITED fo for the download and it changed the status to GRA.
How did it determine the credit granted? It would have to get that from the DXCC download for card QSLs.

Mike,

I don't know the details of the thread linked below, but was touching on ARRL GRA Q's, etc..

Dunno if it touches on what you have noted.

Log4Om downloads LOTW data for LOTW handled QSO, including credited paper QSO's if any
this option is enabled through a flag in the lotw download page and goes to this URL:

https://lotw.arrl.org/lotwuser/logbook/qslcards.php

Unfortunately there is not a login parameter, so the user must enter on LoTW server and be logged in. Then the user is retrieved from cookies until expiration also by Log4OM

There is a login capability for that API just like the LOTW download.

OK...we got most of his current QSOs marked correctly.

Now we've checked a few of the older ones from the 70's and such which are in the DXCC download but no in his log.

Tried importing the DXCC but it won't create new QSOs for the missing ones....no doubt due to the missing time.

Is there any way to get this to work for the DXCC QSOs that aren't in his log to create new QSOs?

I can send you his log and DXCC list if needed.

I'd say several hundred...that's why doing it one-at-a-time would be painful.

Have you tried adding an arbitrary time to the qso's in adif master and then import?
