Update the Omnirig radio files to the latest.... and then set the radio in omnirig to IC-7300-DATA

Uninstall the USB divers for the rig in the PC and install the GENUINE Icom ones without rig connected as instructed by Icom

Then ensure that you select OMNIRIG in the JT program NOT your radio

I had a fresh install of everything on my laptop i use for POTA. I had this exact problem where every time I used Omnirig from WSJT, it would set it to RTTY. The other day I discovered (after updating the radio definition files in omnirig, so I cant tell you if it was there before or not) that there is an option that reads IC-7300-DATA. When I switched to that in Omnirig, WSJT operates properly using USB-D, and the world is happy now (since I can now call out to the world via FT8 properly!!!)
