RAC Award

Hello,
I have a question about the management of Awards and for that I use the RAC Award to try to understand
Canada has 12 provinces which are described in the Stats.csv file like this:

For the RAC to be taken into account, simply put in the "Comment" field the name of the corresponding Canadian province (for example: Ontario) and Log4OM detects that this corresponds to the "Ontario" value for the RAC and therefore I find this value in my reference field in which I chose to display the RAC (Settings / Program configuration / User preferences Ref1 to Ref6)

Everything works very well but what I don't understand is this:
Why if I type "British Columbia" (in 2 words) in the "Comment" field Log4OM finds that it is "British Columbia" whereas if I type "New Brunswick" (in 2 words) Log4OM does not find a match; but if I type "Newbrunswick" in 1 word it works normally

It doesn't matter I can type in just 1 word in this case, it's just to understand
Here is also the detail of the description of the RAC Award which I modified a little but in both cases the values seem similar

So if you could tell me WHERE Log4OM will look for the matches? and in this specific case what should I modify so that Log4OM accepts both cases by typing the province in 2 words

Thank you for your explanations

Why are you using comments field why not use the provided awards tab?

If there is a typo in an award reference inform our awards manager Claus and temporarily edit the name in the log4om award manager

==> well because it's much simpler and faster to just type the name in the comment field. If I enter a QSO from Log4OM I type directly for example "ONTARIO" in the "comment" field and it is Log4OM which does the work otherwise it is necessary that in addition to entering the QSO, you must use F3 then select the type award, then select the corresponding field, then validate with the + key
With the "Comment" field I just type the name that fits, it's still much simpler

Likewise, if I make a QSO in digital mode in the digital QSO validation window, we have direct access to the "Comment" field, so it is much simpler to use this field.

==> yes that's why I put this post in the "Award" forum so that Claus can watch ...
Thanks

Yes Terry

I sent him a private message from the forum, maybe it's better to send him an email via his email found on QRZ.com?

Sorry for the delay, I’m currently on a business trip in China and will be back on the 14th of March. I don’t have access to Log4OM at the moment but will fix RAC when back.
