MYSQL database

I am not an expert on this section, but need to use MYSQL dataserver for our clubstation.
I would like to use a MYSQL dataserver as we have several operators who have to reach the dataserver from different locations.
Is there any one who has more experience is setting up such utility?

I got information on the MySQL database generated.
Should I fill in this information in the left colomn and leave the right colomn open?

In the meanwhile I learned a bit more.
we are trying to use MariaDB v 11.3.
I presume there is the issue, which exists already for a longer time.
Is there a y work in progress at the develop team to get this working?

Is there any alternative for MariaDB?
