Would it be possible to have a lock to prevent automatic updating with CAT/UDP messages during manual QSO entry?
I often manually enter contacts while activating the station and the automatic update interferes with my entry in the manual data entry window. I can lock some fields like date and time, but not all.

1. Please clarify what you mean by "automatic update"

Is this the QRZ/HamQTH info provider lookup or are you refering to QSO data being received from an external program

2. Are you manually entering the QSO while in contact with the other station or are you entering historic QSO's from some earlier time?

I am entering historic QSO's while I am in contact with an other station.
All the unlocked information (callsign, report) are updated by external connections (UDP inbound).
I hope that it will clarify my request.
