Hi i wonder if anyone can help ? .suddenly lost cat control ,was working fine and all i have done is a adif file upload then noticed no frequency display says offline and no control to change bands . checked cat leads and also opened up my old hrd logging program and cat control works fine on that . I've checked in the system and all seems as it was . any idea's

Restart Log4om

Restart your pc

Check the baud rate set in log4om matched that of the radio

Check that the com port number has not changed due to a windos update - Yes I know you said it works with hrd but HRD can automatically set the port number whereas Hamlib and Omnirig cannot

Thanks terry and i did say noting has changed ,I've not had a windows update since last week and the radio was working perfectly fine up to the point of uploading the adif which i cant imagine has any bearing on the system .I've rechecked the omnirig and nothing has changed .i did do a full log4om and did a reinstall and nothing has changed completely baffled as to why one minute its working fine then shows offline the next. this happened yesterday and I've checked and rechecked

v2,32.1.0 i went back in to the downloads and updated again think it was 15.03.24 still no joy
radio is the ftdx 9000mp. sorry i should have said those in the first post

hi terry sorry no i wont install it i had a version of it corrupt my old pc but ill just uninstall log4om thanks for your help I've spent 2 days trying to sort it and literally had enough
