Flex 6000 series & Hamlib

Post by F4BPO »

To Flex 6000 series users

Was anyone able to make Hamlib work ?

Omnirig works of course but I am trying to get Hamlib to work on Log4OM without any success.

If I open a CMD prompt and launch hamlib located in Log4OM folder it works but through CAT settings in Log4OM it does not work.

From command prompt
C:\Perso\Seafile\Radio\Log4OMv2\config\hamlib>rigctl.exe -m 2036 -r 127.0.0.1:5002 -t 5002
Rig command:
and from there any command sent will properly control the radio.

If i use the same parameters in Log4OM it does not work.

It seems like Log4OM is sending a request for ID but it is not understood and then sends a V...
2024-07-29 19:37:11.732 TCP 5002 [rcvd]: ID;
2024-07-29 19:37:11.734 TCP 5002 [sent]: ?;
2024-07-29 19:37:12.630 TCP 5002 [rcvd]: ;V ?
I think the issue comes from Log4OM as no issue to connect to the radio with Hamlib from CMD prompt.

Thanks
