I'm running the latest version (2.34.0.0) of L4OM2 together with WJTX (FT8) with an IC7300 and using Omnirig.
Everything has worked fine until this morning (Sunday 08/12/2024).
To cut a long story short - If I run L4OM alone CAT control of the radio works fine.
If I run WJTX alone CAT control of the radio works fine.
If I start L4OM first CAT control works fine on L4OM but when I run WJTX CAT control of the radio will not work.
Similarly if I start WJTX first CAT control works fine but as soon as I run L4OM CAT control of the radio will not work.
I have checked and re-checked Omnirig, L4OM and WJTX settings and all seem correct.
Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.
CAT Problem
Re: CAT Problem
I seem to be having a similar problem.
I am running an IC-7300, WSJT-X. When I first boot up, my 7300 is on and then I open up Log4OM so I can get the CAT going (Yes, I have the latest .ini for Omnirig). Then I open WSJT-X. All seems to be working and then the CAT will drop thus making both programs unusable. I repeat the process all to no avail. What's even more strange is when I CQ in WSJT-X, it switches to "FIL2" automatically! Then I have to change back to "FIL1" when I receive. Now... I am running Windows 11 (latest and greatest) and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. I've tried to change Omnirig to compatibility mode (Windows 7) and it hasn't fixed anything. Any suggestions/resolutions would be greatly appreciated. I have indeed read previous postings and the manual and followed them to the tea. I look forward to hearing the replies.

Re: CAT Problem
Did you realise that Omnirig, Log4OM and WSJT all need to be 'Run as an administrator' for the multithreading capability of Omnirig to function, as per Alex's instructions
