I am trying to get LOG4OM to handle 2 slides correctly but failing.
I found this post from Rich N0VT:
https://community.flexradio.com/discuss ... e-question
I have replicated the setup using HAMLIB and LOG4OM connects perfectly to Slice A but doesn't seam to see slide B
Pointers welcome. I have tried to set the TCPP CAT TX Listener in Slicemaster to port 7820 (Currently 7821) but Slicemaster doesn't allow me to change that for some reason. Not sure if that will make a difference.
Welcome suggestions . I am running N1MM, Skimmer, WSJTX and all working together otherwise.

Handling Flex slices as 2 VFOs
Re: Handling Flex slices as 2 VFOs
Phil,
I do not have a Flex rig, but take a look at the "current" User Guide on Page 226. Pages 226 through 230.
Detailed information about Flex and Slice Master.

Re: Handling Flex slices as 2 VFOs
After some assistance from Doug at Slicemaster, think I have resolved it.
My setup which failed:
Step 1 - Configuring Log4OM to use Slice Master for CAT (page 227)
---> HAMLIB setup per manual to connect to port 7820
Step 2 - Flex : CAT created for port 7820
Step 3 - Configuring Slice Master for TX Following (page 227)
> Could connect to port 7820 as was in use. Wouldn't let me tick as active.
Solution
Remove Flex Cat setup for port 7820 in step 2. Not needed . This meant I could then active port per step 3.
My mistake as wrongly assuming I needed a CAT port setup in Flex for Log4oM !!

'Both SmartSDR CAT and Slice Master are trying to use port 7820. If you remove (or change) the your use of port 7820 from SmartSDR CAT it will free up the port for use by Slice Master. Your LOG4OM configuration looks correct. So after making the change, just restart Slice Master and LOG4OM.
LOG4OM will then connect to your radio through Slice Master instead of through SmartSDR CAT. At that point, the frequency display in LOG4OM will show the frequency of the slice you have set to TX.'
