Winkeyer with RemoteTx Connect

Hi all,

Log4OM works fine with my loical winkeyer, no complains at all about that

I am also accessing a remote station using the RemoteTx software, they also provide a "RemoteTx Connect" software that actually emulates a winkeyer locally, then sends CW to the remote transceiver. (A bit like Flexradio is doing with SmartCAT).
That winkeyer works fine with N1MM; as I try to access it with Log4OM I get this message from Log4OM:

"WK Echo test failed! Reset unit"

So my question is: is the Echo test mandatory or could it be turned off ?
