Hi,
I just got back into the hobby after 35 years and wow a lot has changed! I am trying to add telnet clusters and the maximum I can put is 6 and I thought I read it was 10?
If anyone has suggestions on which clusters to use that would be appreciated.

Maximum number of clusters
Re: Maximum number of clusters
Tim,
Not clear if you are trying manually add a range of clusters or just what. The current list of stable clusters is many pages long. My one attached image shows such a list, but one has to scroll and scroll and scroll.
Much easier to enter in a cluster ID to search for one you are looking for. You can make some very minor modifications to that cluster information and it will then have a label of "U" indicating that it is User Defined. Once you get the clusters that you choose to follow now and again you can select the tic box in your configuration to just show those that you have User Defined.
My images below are the same save for one showing the User Defined clusters I keep at hand for my use.
Most everyone uses Lee Sawkins ve7cc cluster or one of the many that are part of his node network such as ae5e, n4zkf ... etc..
You do not need to make active some or all of the ve7cc cluster network as that would simply be redundant and Log4OM would also trim the dupes that showed up on his clusters.
In my case I happen to prefer n4zkf and am always logged into Dave's cluster save for the one-off times that a hurricane might put his network off-line. Then I switch over to ae5e or ve7cc.
I also like the hamalert cluster that focuses on POTA and SOTA spots much more than what you see on a regular cluster.
You would have to manually add the hamalert cluster as it is not in the overall list of cluster. I can send you some images about the settings I use, but you will have to create a login access via the hamalert.org website and that would be up to you.
In most cases having one cluster running is plenty enough data flow of spots. Now I also use the CC-User APP that Lee Sawkins supports to manage all my clusters in Lee's network. I can do all sorts of filtering in CC-User and manage what shows up in Log4OM.
In my case I filter out all FTxx spots. I do NOT do any digital Q's and don't want to see those spots in my cluster feeds. I'm a CW only station.
Don't try to do it all at once. Take your time, read the "current" User Guide once, twice and again for a third time. Also be sure to review all of the many Y/T tutorial videos that Terry has made. He has one or two about clusters as well.
