Hi all.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with the settings for cat connection to my 590? I'm using hamlib but despite various setting changes I cant get the two to connect. Any help welcome.

I think your bet bet is to use Omni-Rig instead of Hamlib

OK so I'm trying that and still no good. I'm no expert on these things so excuse my ignorance. I'm using the same port I run fldigi from, in my case com3, is this correct?

Dave,
You do realise that two programs cannot share a normal com port don't you

So if FLdigi is connected to the rigs com port Log4om will nopt be able to connect to that port because its already in use

Hi Terry.

Sorry, I should have made in clear that fldigi isn't running at the same time. My cat status button is green but I'm not getting any of the features. Scratching my head here.

Are you saying that the frequency and mode do not change in Log4om when they are changed on the rig and that when double clicking a cluster spot in Log4om that the rig does not follow the frequency and mode.

Are you using the USB connection on the rig? if so I am surprised that the Silicon labs Kenwood port was installed to that com port number!
