QSO Manager ADIF Export

Post by K4SHQ »

I have frequent occasion to export selected QSO's to ADIF. The QSO Manager seems to be the way to do that. But I can only do one-at-a- time. Doing one-at-a-time means I then have to merge them. I usually on have 2 or 3 to export. How can I export 2 or 3 selected QSO's all at one time?

Dan,

Treat the QSO Manager log display as a spreadsheet file.

Click the first QSO you want to export, then hold the shift key and click the next many QSOs (assuming they are all in sequence). If not ... click the first QSO then hold the ctrl key and click each QSO you want to export.

All very well explained in the extensive User Guide.

Thank you.
I understand what you are saying. I already knew that. My problem is the distance in time I have to manually search. I may have one QSO in May 2024 and the next in August of 2018. Since I operate in digital mode (FT8) I tend to accumulate a lot of QSO's. Over 11,000 now. If I have to manually search, I'll be better off exporting one a time. I can merge ADIF files well enough but it's an extra step.

Dan,

Maybe using a combination of some of the filters in QSO Manager will help narrow down the 'few' QSOs you need to export?

Thank you. You may very well be right. I will have to explore that.

Just consider what the required QSO's have in common then filter on that

e.g.
A date range
Your POTA ref
Your grid square
the other stations POTA, IOTA, SOTA ref etc

I need to filter on specific call signs. If memory is correct, I should be able to filter using SQL. If not I should be able to figure it out.
Thanks.
