Hello Terry,
Thanks for the answer.
In my ADIF (from VQLog) I see <OWN_GRIDSQ:6>JO11WM
If I change it into <My_Grid_square:6>JO11WM it will be recognized by LOG4OM when importing?
Thanks for the possibility to ask for VHF features (if needed at all). I first will try to get a little bit of understanding how this program works.
I have several reasons that made me look for another logbook program (not the VHF features from VQLog as they were great)
I tried DX4WIN, DXBASE, VQLog, UCXLog, etc but none of them satisfied me although they are rather complete or have nice features.
All reasons are related to the way how I can be warned by the cluster window (coloured lines and/or fields) and the combination or separation of getting a QSO confirmed by paper AND/OR LOTW).
1) I'm looking for the opportunity to highlight a call in the cluster window, unconditionally. The list of calls to be highlighted are from an editable list. I used this feature on the
http://www.sk6aw.net/cluster page for several years because my log-program didn't have this option.
Unfortunately SK6AW will close down their webpage/service.
Is this available in Log4Om?
2) In the "Cluster highlight" section I'm missing (or didn't see it) :
a) Country worked/NOT confirmed
b) Band/Mode worked/NOT confirmed
As QSL-ing is getting less sure these days, you need to work a country on a specific band/mode again, several times now and then, to get it confirmed. It would be nice to get an alert if worked but not confirmed yet.
Is this available in Log4Om?
3) Is it possible to change between two view options in the cluster?
a) show all spots
b) show only spots that have some kind of alert/highlight as defined
4) I grew up with the paper QSL but also started LOTW a few years ago.
I like both and would like get qso and confirmation for both.
Especially old expeditions didn't submit to LOTW and therefor I would like to work that country again to get it on LOTW.
So there is a "need" for being alerted if one of the two fails confirmation (again for country, band and mode)
Is this available in Log4Om?
Sorry for all this bandwidth
Thanks in advance !
