I'm trying to change the font size printing qsl labels to no avail. Nothing in the guide and changes in Label print window has no effect.
Also, the time printed on the qsl label indicates AM and PM - not UTC?? Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: QSL label font size and time
I just checked version 1.23 & 1.24 and in both the font size was adjustable in the label print window resulting in differing sizes being printed so perhaps you could try again?ve3nr wrote:I'm trying to change the font size printing qsl labels to no avail. Log4OM takes the date and time format from the Windows settings - Please visit your Windows Date and time advanced setting to change thisAlso, the time printed on the qsl label indicates AM and PM - not UTC?? Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: QSL label font size and time
I fixed the time format. Thanks.
I have changed the font size in label print numerous times and it doesn't work. A friend of mine has tried this too and it doesn't work for him either. I have uninstalled Log4OM, downloaded the .zip file and installed again with "run as administrator". Still doesn't work!!

Re: QSL label font size and time
As you will see from the screen grabs below the size of font changes for me, first example is with a font size of 6 and the second one a font size of 8.ve3nr wrote:I fixed the time format. Thanks.

Please provide a step by step description of the method you are employing to change the label font size?

Re: QSL label font size and time
Further to a post from ve3nr who has been working with me on this, I have been able to change the font size OK, but two problems remain: 1. Even though I changed the time format on my computer to 24 hour format, the label prints in 12 hour format followed by either AM or PM and, 2. That time printing spills over to the TIME column and overprints onto the TIME column and makes that unreadable.
My equipment is a laptop running Windows, Vista Business and my printer is an HP ENVY 4500 and there is nothing in the printer's software about labels.
Any thoughts on how to correct this ? Thanks and 73 VE3CNA

Re: QSL label font size and time
I have not used vista for many years but I think the available date and time formats are much the same, so see below for the formats you should set

Re: QSL label font size and time
I have changed the time setting on my computer ( vista ) but the time that prints on the label still switches from the 24 hour format on LOG4OM to 12 hour format with the AM/PM 'suffix' that overprints into the 'BAND' field.
Any further thoughts about how to change this ? ( I am thinking about getting a new computer with Windows 10 anyway and may solve this problem that way ).
As a thought: LOG4OM instructions do not call for changing the host computer's time format from 12 to 24 hour format. Perhaps it should. ! ?

Re: QSL label font size and time
Sounds like Vista is not holding your choice of setting as the default, we don't change anything we just use whatever the computer default is.ve3cna wrote:I have changed the time setting on my computer ( vista ) but the time that prints on the label still switches from the 24 hour format on LOG4OM to 12 hour format with the AM/PM 'suffix' that overprints into the 'BAND' field. I run Windows XP, 7 and 10 and on all the label date and times work 100% I have not used Vista for years and could not get it off my PC fast enough it was the worst operating system Microsoft ever produced

I run Vista on my desktop and have no problems at all with the time or anything else.
