MixW Logbook merge

Post by ON2TD »

Hello,

Using this fantastic program since 2 weeks, got almost everything up and running.
Before i was using MixW. If i extract the .adi from there to Log4om , im missing a lot of info in the QSO MANAGER.

For example:

QSO end date
QSO end time
band
country

Anyone help on this ?

As you will see from the MixW ADIF file below MixW does not export the QSO End date or the band

MixW v2 log file exported to ADIF
<PROGRAMID>MixW
<PROGRAMVERSION>3.1
<ADIF_VER:4>1.00
<EOH>
<STATION_CALLSIGN:5>G4POP<CALL:5>LZ2TT<QSO_DATE:8>20161112<TIME_ON:6>123512<TIME_OFF:6>123515<FREQ:8>14.07000<MODE:5>PSK31<RST_RCVD:3>599<RST_SENT:3>599<QSL_SENT:1>N<QSL_RCVD:1>N<DXCC:3>212<ITUZ:2>28<CQZ:2>20<COUNTRY:8>Bulgaria<CONT:2>EU<QSO_ID:1>1<EOR>

It does however contain the end time, Frequency and also the country and these values are imported correctly into Log4OM as in the example below

You can update the band by using our QSO Archive manager, see the highlighted function below

Thx for that !

That indeed helped the trick.
I was fighting with my logbooks to merge everything in Log4OM but i got it up and running now !

Only qrz.com seems to have problems with a part of my log, while i actually did a export adif out log4OM and imported that into QRZ.COM

Error 1. Error on record: LU2DSV de ON2TD on 2016-11-12 16:29:00.
You either do not have access to a logbook with the callsign: ON2TD,
or the QSOs date/time is outside of the logbooks date range.

This is a QSO directly logged with log4OM

It's the only point I'm struggling with this fantastic program.
Even the direct inputs in the different logbooks and LotW. Just what a program needs to do.

* Anyone having experience with a Android logging app that is the most compatibel with the log4OM ?

* Any tips on digital modes ?

I'm changing everything, no rusty programs anymore :-)

Thx for the help so far !

You either do not have access to a logbook with the callsign: ON2TD,
or the QSOs date/time is outside of the logbooks date range.
This would indicate to me that the QRZ logbook that you are loading to has a start and/or end date which does not include the date of the QSO - Check on your QRZ logbook website page in the settings window what the dates for you ON2TD are

There is not an Android program that will log directly to the LOG4OM database if that's what you mean, however any Android program that can export an ADIF file of the QSO's will enable you to import that file to Log4OM
* Any tips on digital modes ?
If your asking what program to use then as you will see from our YouTube tutorials and the User guide we recommend FLDigi which will properly integrate.

If however your asking what digital modes to use then the world is your oyster and the choice is up to you! Google is your friend :D
