unable to select QSO's to upload to LoTW & eQSL

Post by K4SHQ »

I've been on 20m chasing the Original 13 Colony Special Event, and have four SSB contacts to upload to LoTW and eQSL. But from the QSL manager they cannot be selected. There was a lot of manual entry involved and perhaps it's something I failed to enter, but I can't spot anything missing. You'll find an attached text file which is in reality an .adi file, that contains the offending QSO records.

I just imported them into an empty database and all seems OK and I can select them in the QSL Manager after selecting eQSL and clicking search so that they are listed.

However they are all marked as eQSL sent = Y so it seems they have already been uploaded, have you got the auto upload facility activated? If so they were uploaded as you saved each QSO!

Yes I do have auto upload enabled. So "duh" on that part, but I still can't upload just these 4 SSB contacts. I had an FT8 prior to the SSB's and it was selected and uploaded just fine. Since the 4 I sent worked for you, what should I look for on my end as a fault on my end?

Dan,
At first you said:
from the QSL manager they cannot be selected
Now you are saying:

I still can't upload just these 4 SSB contacts.
Please be specific and illustrate your problem with screen shots so that I can suggest some possible fixes.

As they have already been uploaded automatically, why do you need to upload them again?

Terry,
They have been uploaded to eQSL but not to LoTW. I cannot select them for an LoTW upload via the QSL Manager

After selecting LOTW did you click the 'Search' button. so as to display the Logbook?

I did. I just tried something a little different in response to your question. In the green panel I selected the Update radio button, which enables the upload/download arrows. Then I selected the 'Search (ALT-S) button at the top. That gave me a list that I was able to select from. I selected those 4 QSO's and was then able to upload them. So now everything is uploaded to LoTW/eQSL & QRZ.

The final question remains though. Why wouldn't the 'Select required' but find those 4 QSO's just as it has been doing for several months now?

Because the QSO's LOTW Sent status is marked N-No not R- requested

Oh ok. Now that it's explained it makes sense. Thanks Terry.
