Cluster not contacted on this mode

Post by F6FLU »

Hello
Always with the cluster :
1) My settings is :

CE_2019-05-04 11H32_52.jpg (108.36 KiB) Viewed 5061 times
2) I'm looking for the AM70 stations

CE_ 2019-05-04 à 11.43.11.jpg (209.63 KiB) Viewed 5061 times
See the line below the selected line
The AM70O
with this cluster interface I see :
I contacted AM70O (call is in Gray)
I contacted Spain ( country is in Yellow)
I Contacted Spain on 40M (Ban is in Yellow)

and

I Contacted AM70O in Phone (the mode is is Yellow)

But I never contacted AM70O in phone mode

where is my mistake?

or how do I display a call that I have already contacted on this Band but not in this mode?

Thanks & 73

This is because the transmission is in the phone part of the bandplan

There is no designated part of the IARU bandplan for FT8

You can modify the bandplan yourself but be aware that if you do any phone contacts that appear in the area that YOU designate for FT8 will then show as FT8

Hi
it's me again, with the same settings
sorry but I'm trying to understand how the cluster display works

for an another example :

AM70R SPAIN on 50005 in CW Mode

I never contacted AM70R in CW on 6M but I contacted SPAIN in 6M on CW mode

That means the cluster see that I already contacted SPAIN in CW mode on 6M but NOT about the CALL

So I looking to understand How can I see if I not contacted this CALL on this Mode in this Band ?

Thanks again

PS : I modified my BandPlan : I created a R1_user.xml file

Looking at the way you have your colours set it is working as it should

Light grey highlight of call sign = You have worked that station before on any band any mode at some time

Dark grey highlight of call sign = You have worked that station on the same band (Not necessarily the same mode)

Country highlighted in yellow = You worked that country on any mode on any band at some time before

Mode highlighted in yellow = You worked that country in that mode before

Band highlighted in yellow = You worked that country on that band before

If the COUNTRY has not been worked on the band or mode then with your colour set up it would be highlighted in Light Blue

If you read the options for cluster highlights you will note there is NOT a facility for indicating is an individual call sign has NOT been worked on a particular mode! only that it either has or has not been worked on the same band!

Most Hams only look for band slots not to work a particular station on every mode one every band?

You could sort/filter in the QSO Archive window for that call sign and then sort by mode order for making a print out

Or of course you could view the worked before list in mode order when you enter the required call

Alternatively use the filters shown below to list unworked bands and modes

Hi
Thanks terry for your answer
Yes with these options that works or pretty much :-)

<Most Hams only look for band slots not to work a particular station on every mode one every band?>

it's strange for me
for Example actually there are the AM70* stations and RP74* stations to memorialise some birthday
I would like to be able to visualize if I contacted this or that station in the same band and the same mode
currently I use Logger32 which does it very well and as I am testing Log4OM I would like to find the same thing
even via alerts, I can not build an alert on a set of call (AM70 *) in a given mode and on a given band

it does not matter I continue to test I have other questions ... :-)
