I know softwares are developed for the generality not the particularity, but is there a way (or future update) that Log4OM radio display could display different frequencies according to Flexs slices, just like it displays VFO A and VFO B ?

+1
Not sure if that is a limitation of Omnirig or what but would like to be able to log slice B. I have it setup in OmniRig but has only worked randomly over the years.

Re: Multiple Freq Display for Flex
There are some libraries from FLEX but i didn't have worked on them yet, focusing on core.
CAT engine is expandable (hardly over the visual limitation of 2 VFO's) but some kind of support to Flex VFO's can/will be added in future.

Thanks Daniele! Yes, I agree with attention to core first and foremost. If in the future this feature is enabled I'll be happy, if not, I'll be happy as well. I'm very satisfied with Log4OM.IW3HMH wrote: 16 Jan 2020, 11:42 There are some libraries from FLEX but i didn't have worked on them yet, focusing on core.

Congratulations on a great job!

Re: Multiple Freq Display for Flex
Old thread
But, just for curiosity sake why is the Flex not treated as two radios? I mean the VFOs on a Flex are on separate serial ports. How does Log4OM know they are not two different radios?

Re: Multiple Freq Display for Flex
Rich, I have Slice A on COM16 (RIG 1) and Slice B on COM17 (RIG 2). That's how I switch between Slice A and Slice B in Log4OM.

Re: Multiple Freq Display for Flex
How do you switch back and forth?
That seems to have no effect here Roland.

Re: Multiple Freq Display for Flex
Yep, that does not work.
Changing 1 to 2 has no effect.

Re: Multiple Freq Display for Flex
Then I guess something is wrong with your setup. Can you show your Omni Rig config and your SmartSDR CAT config ?
