Hi All,
Can someone explain to me the difference between "WORKED SAME MODE" and "WORKED SAME MODE TYPE"?
I can't find this in the manual.
Thanks, Dick DL1CLM

Re: Cluster MODE vs. MODE TYPE
No I can't. Don't know what Type means. However, my reason for responding is that in testing to try and duplicate, it seems that once the "initial determination" is made as to worked before/mode/band/etc, that determination remains even if you change bands or mode? (No current CAT control for this test).
Example;
I, w/o CAT control, enter a call I've worked prior with Band and Mode selected as in the prior QSO and get the [WRK BAND MODE] indication. Now, even if I change Mode or Band, the indication remains. I would have expected it to refresh.
FWIW.

Really loving new V2. Can't wait for updates.

Re: Cluster MODE vs. MODE TYPE
I assume MODE can be USB, LSB, AM, FM and that this falls under MODE TYPE "phone". RTTY, FT8, FT4 falls under MODE TYPE "digital" and CW falls under MODE TYPE "cw".
So if I have worked with PE1CLM at 20 meters with USB and PE1CLM is on the cluster at 20 meters with AM then the color corresponding to "WORKED SAME MODE TYPE" is displayed in the cluster.
If PE1CLM is on the cluster at 20 meters with USB, the color corresponding to "WORKED SAME MODE"
Is my assumption correct?
What makes it a bit confusing is that we can display "Emission Type", "Modulation Type" and "Spot Mode" in the cluster screen.

Re: Cluster MODE vs. MODE TYPE
Hi All,
Isn't there anyone who can tell the difference between "WORKED SAME MODE" and "WORKED SAME MODE TYPE" ?
The tests I've done so far don't give an unambiguous result.
