Hi all
I have installed a portable version (latest one) on the computer.
1/ I cannot see ANY difference, anywhere, so how do I know I am actually the portable version ?
2/ In the autosatr, I have configured JTDX and JTAlert.
The actually launched version of JTDX is not the proper one...
How come ?

Re: Portable version
The portable version is intended for running from a memory stick so that you can use it on any other computer - - Portable
Why do you need both installed and portable versions on the same computer?

Re: Portable version
Hi Terry
I am still fighting to be able to have 2 simultaneous sessions og Log4OM + JTDX + GridTracker for one callsign, and the same group of programs but for the othert callsign.
I would like them both to work simultaneously, that is wgy I cannot use the great feauture of Log4OM for 2 (or more) different calls.
I was told by DF5WW that using the portable version for one of the calls was the (his) solution. But I am unable to configure the whole thing... Have been struggling to death about this all....
Since using the portabvle version (is it the portable verion) opn myt computer does not work.
So how can I get 2 instances of Log4OM to run simultaneously ?

Re: Portable version
Hello Paul,
as i told you in my Email, if you use the portable one for the clubcall you can´t use 2 instances of JTDX.
On my end i have JTDX running for my own call and WSJT-X for the clubcall. JTalert can be run for 2 calls
in 2 instances, elsewhere in the menu of JTalert you can add some callsigns more. If you open the second
instance of JTalert you can change the setup for this like path to the database e.g.
Check that Omnirig, Log4OM (installed and portable), JTDX and WSJT-X run as administrator.
By the way, am not shure you´re using 2 radios and no idea how it works with only one radio but i use
2 different radios here and i can do parallel QSO´s on different bands with 2 different calls.

Juerghen
So if I use 2 instances of Log4OM, I can use 2 instances of JTDX, right ?
If so, I am returning to my original question : is it possible to run 2 instances of Log4OM (each with a differenty callsign) ?
If so, how should they be configured ?

Re: Portable version
Not 2 instances of JTDX. Never got that to work. If you try a second one it says "JTDX is always running".
I use one instance of JTDX and one instance of WSJT-X. Only JTalert can be configured for
more than one callsign and if you do so it will create a second desktop symbol for the new call.

I am asking if it is possible to run 2 instances of Log4OM...
I have my 2 JTDX instances configured and working on their own.
